Its all in the mind...

Do we actually love from the heart???? After all, the mind is the source of all feelings. The subconscious desire to be loved stems from one's ego to feel important. Love may be defined as a state of mind characterized by an absence of worldly wants, ailing problems, unreasonable expectations and emergence of a new outlook towards life. This perception of life where one is satisfied in accepting life as it comes leads to a sustainable form of happiness.
God is a man-made creation of the mind to explain the unnatural and inexplicable phenomenons of life. It is the faith to whom is attributed the miracles of life. God is an object of our imagination who we see as the ultimate solver of all our problems. Religion is perceived as the means of communicating with the Almighty. When all seems to be lost, we turn our faith to bring us happiness and get us out of our misery.
If one runs his/her life knowing that it is the mind which determines our happiness and state of well-being, then one of the aims of life should be to understand it with ultimately enabling oneself to control it. Controlling our emotions is known as maturity. Lowering our expectations reduces the disappointments from life.
Perceptions created by our minds shape our life as well as our destiny...

Moods oh girls

One thing that I have frequently noticed amongst girls are their ever-changing moods. These mood swings usually have to be borne by the guys, especially when in a relationship. The question arises is that whether the girls are justified with showcasing such a behaviour in context of a relationship. Understanding a girl is easy but handling her moods is a daunting task for a guy. It requires a lot of comprises on part of the guy. They have to let go of their male ego, go to lengths to pamper the girl and follow her commands. Girls suffer from various phases and the guy must be required to figure and understand each of these mood swings, all on his own. It is often said that girls display a greater sense of maturity than guys. It might be true given the fact that guys sacrifice too much for a girl, for her moods. Guys are expected to be unemotional beings with only sexual desires. Quite the contrary, research has shown that guys are more emotional than girls. Sorry, I guess my statement might have hurt the male ego but it is true.
Girls want guys to accept them for what they are but are they ready to accept the guys for what they are. A big 'No'!!!!....There will always be shortcomings in a guy which the girl would want him to overcome.
I think girls should give due recognition to the guys for all the sacrifices they make and guys must learn to define a boundary beyond which not to pamper the girl and let her be on her own and help herself.
